How do I create and manage sub-accounts (family profiles) in Mealeez?

Mealeez allows you to create and manage separate profiles for family members or others who have different allergy needs. This makes it easy to keep everyone's dietary information organized and accessible. For example, you can switch profiles for each family member, and check recipes, restaurant menus and food labels for that particular person.

Creating a Sub-Account:

  1. Access Your Profile: Tap the "Profile" icon (top right of the screen) and select "Account Details & Settings"

  2. Go to Manage Your Profiles: Under the "Family & Network Profiles" tap the "Manager Your Profiles" option.

  3. Create a New Sub-Account: Tap "Add," at the top right of the screen. You'll be presented with the following options:

    • Create Profile: Select this to create a new sub-account
    • I Have A Code: Select this if someone has sent you a unique code to be given access to a sub-account. (Skip remaining steps)
  4. Enter Sub-Account Details: Provide the necessary information for the sub-account, such as:

    • Profile Name: only visible to you, and those that have been given access to this profile
    • Profile Photo: only visible to you, and those that have been access to this profile
    • Allergy Information: similar to your own profile, enter allergy groups and ingredients the sub-account needs to avoid.
  5. Save the Sub-Account: Tap "Save"

You can upgrade/downgrade the permission levels for each person by clicking the icon on the far right of the profile name. This will toggle between admin permissions (can EDIT the sub-account) or standard permissions (can VIEW the sub-account, but can not edit). You can also remove other members access to this account by tapping the "minus" icon next to the members name.
    • Profile Access Code (admins only): This is a unique, time-limited code you can send to someone to allow them to be added to the sub-account (see the "Joining A Sub Account" FAQ)
