You can always add or update this information later in your profile settings. Here's a breakdown of the optional fields:

Profile Picture: Upload a profile picture to personalize your Mealeez account. This picture may be visible to other users if you comment on recipes.

Allergies (Highly Recommended): While adding allergies during signup is optional, we strongly recommend doing so. This allows Mealeez to start personalizing your experience immediately. You can specify your allergies in two ways:

Allergy Groups: Mealeez uses the UK standard 14 main allergen groups. Tapping a group name highlights it:

Red: Avoid this group entirely.

Amber: May react moderately to this group.

Off (No Highlight): Safe to consume this group.

Allergy Ingredients: Fine-tune your allergy profile by specifying individual ingredients. Start typing an ingredient, tap it when it appears, and then highlight it:

Restaurant Distance: Set your preferred search radius for restaurants, up to 150 miles. This helps Mealeez find restaurants near you that meet your allergy needs.

Recipes: Receive a daily notification at about "Today's New Recipe."

Restaurants: Get notified about new restaurant additions or menu updates.

Emails: Subscribe to the Mealeez newsletter (every 3-4 months) for updates on new features and tips.
